Peanut Butter and Banana Dog Biscuits
Prep: 25 min. Cook: 30 min. Ready In: 55 min.
Ingredients:
• 1 egg
• 1/3 cup peanut butter
• 1/2 cup mashed banana
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 1 cup whole wheat flour
• 1/2 cup wheat germ
• 1 egg white, lightly beaten, for brushing

It's almost time for the 4th Annual Blue Valley Farm Show Pet photo
contest sponsored by Leck Veterinary Hospital. Time to start taking
photos of your pet and submitting them for the Pet Photo Contest.
CASH PRIZES & RIBBONS WILL BE AWARDED for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and
4th place The pet that receives the most votes will be determined
the winner. Entries can be submitted now through Monday,
August 17th. To Enter mail your 5x7 pet photo (no other size will
be accepted) include on back of photo: Pet's Name, Owners Name,
Address & Phone Number Mail to: DEB SANDT 13 Liberty Lane, Mt
Bethel, PA 18343. Photos will be on display for voting throughout
fair week Voting will end Saturday evening. Deadline for all entries is
Monday, August 17th at 7:00 PM. No entries will be accepted after

office on Monday, August 17th after 11:00 AM.
RESCHEDULED: 2nd Annual Bow Wow Bike Jam & Poker Run
Bow Wow Bike Jam & Poker Run motorcycle ride has been
rescheduled to Saturday, August 29th due to rain at Lappawinzo
Fish and Game, 25 Lappawinzo Rd., Northampton PA benefits Safe
Haven Dog Rescue in Blakeslee and Peaceable Kingdom in Whitehall.
Registration from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, bike ride starts at 1:00 PM.
Food, music by The Cherry Bombs, Chinese Auction, $500 to high
poker hand! Tickets can be purchased at Affordable Pet Center
2022 Main St Northampton, PA or by calling 610-573-0161. You
don't need to ride to attend this event. Pets welcome. Vendor space
available. Volunteers needed to help setup, tear down, serve food,

Blue Jean Ball
The Monroe Animal League (MAL) in conjunction with The Animal
Welfare Society of Monroe (AWSOM) and Camp Papillon present
their 1st Annual Blue Jean Ball on Friday, September 18th, from
7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Trout Lake Retreats, 1100 Twin Lake Rd,
Stroudsburg. BBQ Dinner and Dancing to the Riverside Rhythm 17
Piece Big Band. Floor Show: Dancing with the Pocono Stars. Special
Events: Animal Tune Games, Celebrity Pup Strut, Photo Booth. For

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
2. Stir together the egg, peanut butter, banana, and honey in a medium
bowl; blend thoroughly. Stir in the flour and wheat germ; mix well. Turn
dough out onto a floured board and roll to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into desired
shapes with a cookie cutter, place on prepared baking sheet, and brush
tops with egg white.
3. Bake biscuits in preheated oven until dried and golden brown, about
30 minutes, depending on size. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
