45th Annual
& Gwen Thomas
New Approach Show
The 45th Annual New Approach Show took place the weekend of
August 7th, 8h, 9th. A medley of songs from the past 4 decades
was performed. Talented children and adults put on another
phenomenal performance! Proceeds form the show benefit the
Dale and Francis Hughes Cancer Center at Pocono Medical Center.

Easton YMCA Jedi Camp/ Tennis Camp

YMCA of Easton, Phillipsburg & Vicinity held "THE FORCE" at the
first ever Jedi Specialty Camp.

the ages of 5 and 11 years of
age learned the ways of "THE
FORCE"!

Salem UCC of Moorestown
Peach Festival Submitted by Linda Washburn
The weather was perfect on Saturday, August 8th for a
fabulous Peach Festival at Salem UCC of Moorestown. The
Kresge Family with the help of Boy Scout Troop 50 sold
fresh peaches and the profit went to the Genesis Group
for their Mission Trips. Hank VanBlargan worked first shift
grilling hot dogs. Homemade foods such as soups, turkey
barbeque, and sausage sandwiches with all the fixins sold
out in record breaking time. Rodney Remaley cut fresh
French fries. They were sold along with perogies and funnel
cake. The church grove has many picnic tables and benches
or you may bring your own lawn chair. The benches were
donated by the Youth Group. They sold root beer floats.
There were games for the youngsters and BINGO. Dan Flok
and the Ravens entertained the hugh crowd for four hours.
The summer night was topped off with perfect peach pie
and peach ice cream. Salem has annual festivals in their
grove the second Saturday of June,
July, and August. Their Country
Festival and Craft Fair will be held
in the Fellowship Hall Saturday,
November 7th from 9AM to 3PM. The
church has a goal to raise $75,000
for their Energy Fund. They are in
desperate need of a new furnace.
