WEEKEND HAPPENINGS<br />
St. Rocco's Church Festival<br />
St<strong>and</strong>s will be open 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Friday, <strong>August</strong> 14th <strong>and</strong><br />
Saturday, <strong>August</strong> 15th. Entertainment will be provided each night from<br />
7:00 PM to 10:00 PM by <strong>The</strong> Headliners on Friday, <strong>August</strong> 14th <strong>and</strong><br />
Inch <strong>and</strong> the Echoes on Saturday, <strong>August</strong> 15th. Food featured includes<br />
the famous Crispelli, the Porketta S<strong>and</strong>wich, <strong>and</strong> also sausage &<br />
peppers, hamburgers, hot dogs <strong>and</strong> pierogies, <strong>and</strong> chicken fingers <strong>and</strong><br />
on Friday night Clams. Come for fun <strong>and</strong> fellowship. Free parking <strong>and</strong><br />
Amusements by Metz featuring Ride B<strong>and</strong>s for each night. <strong>The</strong> Mass<br />
schedule for that weekend is: Saturday, <strong>August</strong> 15 at 4:30 PM. Sunday<br />
Masses are: 7:30 AM, 9:00 AM <strong>and</strong> at the 11:00 AM Mass will be held<br />
outdoors during which there will be an anointing service. Mass will be<br />
followed by St. Rocco's Procession back to the church. We are located<br />
6 miles north of Easton, off of Route 611 in Martins Creek.<br />
Roseto Night at Iron Pigs<br />

Used Book Sale<br />
<strong>The</strong> East Bangor United Methodist Community Church is holding a "Used<br />
Book Sale" on Friday, <strong>August</strong> 14th from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM & Saturday,<br />
<strong>August</strong> 15th from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. A "bag" sale will be held on<br />
Monday, <strong>August</strong> 17th from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM. <strong>The</strong>re will be books for<br />
children <strong>and</strong> adults, all at bargain prices. Baked goods will also be for<br />
sale. Donations will be accepted till <strong>August</strong> 11th. To donate, call Lisa at<br />

Annual Mass At St. Roch’s Catholic Church<br />
<strong>The</strong> Fourth Annual Mass will be celebrated at the former St. Roch’s<br />
Catholic Church, Second Street, West Bangor, on Saturday, <strong>August</strong><br />
15th at 11:00 AM. <strong>The</strong> Reverend Monsignor Vincent P. York, Pastor of St.<br />
Elizabeth’sRoman Catholic Parish, will be the celebrant. <strong>The</strong> liturgy <strong>and</strong><br />
music for the Mass will include readings <strong>and</strong> hymns for the <strong>August</strong> 15<br />
Holy Day, the Feast of the Assumption. Attendees will also participate in<br />
reading the Prayer to St. Roch, the Patron Saint of the closed church.<br />

Wind Gap Film Club Summer Event<br />

Park 6:00 PM. Movies are free & outdoor fun for families. <strong>The</strong>med<br />
food will be available for purchase at all movies. Costumes are<br />
encouraged for all movies!<br />
Transue/Rustine Family Reunion<br />
<strong>The</strong> 40th Transue/Rustine Family reunion will be held on <strong>August</strong> 16th,<br />
at East Bangor Park, East Bangor, PA. from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. <strong>The</strong><br />
family theme is "Ruby Red Reunion". Families are asked to make a<br />
picture board of past reunions <strong>and</strong> of loved ones who are no longer with<br />
us. Please remember to bring a lunch, <strong>and</strong> an item for the cake raffle.<br />
