Direct costs are those costs associated with providing the activity such as fundraising materials, advertising,
postage and stationery, venue and travel expenses. Central support costs, which include office and premises costs,
are allocated on a basis consistent with use of resources, primarily headcount.
Staff costs and allocated central support costs are allocated on the basis of a combination of time spent on each
activity and headcount.
Governance direct costs include auditor’s remuneration, legal and professional fees and Trustees’ expenses.
