Free Information Meeting Hosted by APU<br />

School of Education<br />

Do you want to learn how to begin<br />

or expand a career in teaching and<br />

counseling? Do you want to learn more<br />

about Azusa Pacific University (APU)<br />

School of Education’s graduate degrees<br />

and credentialing programs? If you do,<br />

please come to one of APU School of<br />

Education’s information meetings.<br />

The APU Murrieta Campus is hosting<br />

a free Graduate & Credential Information<br />

Meeting on Thursday, May 12th, from<br />

5:45 pm – 7:30 pm at 40508 Murrieta Hot<br />

Springs Road (to the right of Sam’s Club).<br />

A light dinner will be served.<br />

This information meeting will cover<br />

key topics including: program information,<br />

admissions requirements, navigating<br />

the application process, financial aid<br />

opportunities, and important dates and<br />

deadlines. This meeting is also a great<br />

opportunity for prospective students<br />

to personally talk with APU School of<br />

Education faculty and advisors.<br />

Graduate Student Financial Aid Services<br />

and Graduate Loan/Grant Advising<br />

is also available on this day from 3:00<br />

pm to 5:30 pm. An appointment must<br />

be scheduled in advance.<br />

The APU Murrieta Campus offers a<br />

variety of graduate degrees and teaching<br />

credentials. Among these are Kindergarten<br />

through Grade 12 combined teacher<br />

education credentials and master’s degrees<br />

plus the Masters in Educational &<br />

Clinical Counseling. Additionally, APU<br />

offers degrees in Educational Leadership<br />

including PASC Tier 1 & CASC Tier 2<br />

Credentialing programs.<br />

APU’s School of Education has<br />

WASC (Western Association of Schools<br />

and Colleges), CTC (Commission on<br />

Teacher Credentialing), NCATE (National<br />

Council for Accreditation of Teacher<br />

Education) – CAEP (Council for the<br />

Accreditation of Educator Preparation),<br />

and the NASP (The National Association<br />

of School Psychologists). An average of<br />

853 credential recommendations are issued<br />

annually to APU graduates over the<br />

last three years and APU is California’s<br />

third-largest private School of Education<br />

and sixth-largest among all California<br />
