The profound Hindu Philosophical and religious systems that we see<br />

today are found only in Upanishads and later developments and these<br />

came into existence only during the Post <strong>Christian</strong> Era. These were all<br />

written in Sanskrit. What it amounts to is that the exaggerated claims of<br />

the Vedic origins of <strong>Hinduism</strong> are unfounded. <strong>Hinduism</strong> as presented<br />

today by the modern Hindus is a product of a period much later than at<br />

least 100 AD simply because Sanskrit, the heavenly language came into<br />

existence only after that period.<br />

This evidently puts new and sharp change in the way we look at<br />

<strong>Hinduism</strong>. We have been heavily fooled by the proponents<br />
