The young ladies who visited Barbados a few years ago, came to Antigua on Friday and played against a number of the schools netball teams. The games were played on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday and saw the Under 12 losing all their matches while the under 13 were victorious in their first match and lost the other three.
Friday 15th April 2016 c a r i b b e a n t i m e s . a g 23 Six of West Indies U-19 players are to be featured in the CPL By Vanroy Burnes Six of the Players from the successful West Indies U-19 Cricket team that captured the ICC World U-19 T-20 Title are to be featured in this year’s Caribbean premier league (CPL) tournament which is set to bowl off in June. The six players were retained after the franchises completed players’ rosters for the fourth annual tournament with the six players retained by their various home teams, the players are By Vanroy Burnes The organizers of the Cool & Smooth T-20 cricket tournament have set May 20 th to June 5 th for its third annual program. At a meeting held at the multi-purpose center on Wednesday, it was decided that ten (10) teams will take cont’d from pg 24 host of boundaries. The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is set to bowl off on June 29 th and will run until August 7 th . Third annual Cool & Smooth T-20 set to bowl off May 20 th prize money of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) with the winner bagging twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00). The first runner up will received ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) the second runner up will received five thousand dollars ($5,000.00. The man of the match for each game will received five hundred dollars ($500.00, while the MVP of the tournament will received fifteen hundred dollars ($1500.00.
