1 MISS COCO LUCK appears to be back on track for trainer Blake MacIntosh and she’s been performing better with a change of strategy. Normally
an aggressive early mare, she’s been raced from off the pace in her last pair and has shown plenty of interest down the lane. I’m not sure if the plan
remains the same tonight but it’s good to know she has the versatility. I’m encouraged by her recent outings and will give her top billing.
5 DAZZLING ROCKETTE made her first start in more than a month last weekend and performed well after closing in :26.2 to finish 3 rd . She’s yet to
win this season through 9 starts but her 10 wins last year are proof of how photogenic she can be. She’s performed better for Cirasuola over her
last pair and I believe she has the tools to be a contender in this condition.
2 GREYSTONE LADYLIKE took plenty of support in the wagering last week with the drop to this class but she failed to last on the lead and ended
up 4 th . It was an improving effort for the Belore student but certainly not the type of performance she is capable of. Staying inside on the gate keeps
her in play and it should be noted that all 3 of her wins this year have been at higher levels. She’s a win threat if she brings her ‘A’ game.
7 BAROCKEY used another close following trip to land on the ticket in her latest which came against tougher. She narrowly missed top honors in
this class two back and her good recent form suggests she will be a player again. She’s quick off the gate and a good early seat for the Auciello
pupil usually results in her having a shot at the ticket down the lane.
WORTH A LOOK
(3) RIDE AWAY SHARK initially looked to have interest in the lane last time but once she found a clear path she failed to advance. I do like that
she’s been more forwardly placed recently and could see her contending.
(4) INVEST IN ART got off the schneid with her first win as an older performer last week. I wasn’t sure she was going to get there in time but she
was all business over the final sixteenth. She has the tools to be a threat in here but she will need to continue improving.
(6) BET YA got back on track with a victory in her latest and now begins her ascent up the class ladder. The Moiseyev trainee is proven against
much tougher and needs to find her 2015 form to threaten.
(10) RUBIS PRESCOTT overcame a tough draw in her latest to hit the board but I’m not sure she will be as fortunate again. She’s one to watch for
late but things will need to go her way to be successful.
