ZIMBALI COUNTRY CLUB PUB QUIZ ZCC PUB QUIZ MORE POPULAR THAN EVER!!! On Wednesday April 13th, ZCC held its second Trivia Pub Quiz evening for the 2016 year. It is a tribute indeed to ZCC’s social programmes for members that the Pub Quiz evening has become so popular that many members are even arranging their local & overseas travels in order not to miss this very well-supported ‘fun’ occasion!!! Some 86 eager ‘quizzers’ representing 11 teams attended this function and it proved to be one of the most challenging and keenly contested events held in its 5 year history. Hosted by resident Quiz Master, David Manly, many of the questions proved to be very thought-provoking & stimulating to the point where eager debate and counter debate occurred with frequency!! In the final analysis, the Memorial Silver Salver Trophy was won by “The Brainy Bunch” followed closely by “The Interlopers” and the “Zimbali Freedom Front” in joint second place and “Let’s Get Quizzical” in third position. So, yet another nail biting & keenly fought contest right to the end!! The evening was rounded off with a lovely meal provided by the attentive ZCC staff and the fun, laughter and ‘deliberation’ continued long into the evening.
