ZEMA contributed 50% towards the
soundproofing upgrade of the Crowned Eagle
restaurant which was undertaken by the ZCC
in 2015.

Nature Trails and Walkways
We have the most beautiful natural
environment at Zimbali Coastal Resort, and
members may have noticed the demarcation of
the nature trails and walkways at all juncture
points with Strelitizia Nicolai stems, which
was successfully completed in February 2016.
ZEMA is currently facilitating the production of
a Nature Trail Map & Brochure that will include
all points of interest,and give information about
Zimbali’s flora and fauna to residents and
visitors who wish to navigate and enjoy these
wonderful nature trails.

Phase 2 and 3 of the project remains on track
for completion by the end of April 2016.
BBC Tennis Courts
Tennis enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that
ZEMA will be upgrading our Bushbuck Club
tennis courts from the 18th of April 2016.
This upgrade will entail resurfacing the courts,
refurbishing the fence posts and installing
new fencing on all four courts. We will also
be building a practice wall on the fourth court.
Unfortunately, this will require that the courts
be closed until completion of the upgrade and
improvements at the end of May 2016, and we
apologise for any inconvenience caused – but
assure you that it will all be well worth it.
BBC Facilities
We are pleased to advise that the additional
parking extension at the BBC was completed
in February 2016. This improvement has been
welcomed by members who visit and use
the facilities at the BBC, and was fully utilised
over the Easter period. The recently upgraded
kiddies’ playground has also been a huge
success with our Zimbali little ones.
