What a year it has been here at Geneva<br />
<strong>Charbray</strong>s. With a very big focus on having<br />
a strong cow line this last year has seen us<br />
source in some tremendous new bloodlines<br />
with many thanks to NCC Brahmans,<br />
Brahrock Brahmans, Barambah Brahmans,<br />
Ayr Charolais and Jeff Noller. We have taken<br />
advantage of IVF, ET and AI to ensure we<br />
are accessing the best genetics on offer. The<br />
recent increase in cattle prices has driven us<br />
to breed an earlier maturing animal that will<br />
meet all market specifications. We have taken<br />
this into consideration when selecting our<br />
females and sires. Females that can withstand<br />
the inconsistent seasons have been another<br />
major focus for Geneva <strong>Charbray</strong>s. Our main<br />
core herd of stud cows has had very little<br />
feed through the dry months and have had to<br />
produce a calf every year.<br />
This year’s line up of bulls is one we think a lot<br />
of. With a strong push toward poll animals we<br />
have ensured we try and infuse some poll into<br />
the herd without sacrificing on quality and are<br />
very proud of the poll bulls we present at the<br />
sale. With a very light sale preparation we are<br />
confident the bulls will go straight to work and<br />
perform well.<br />
Overall we believe they are a strong<br />
representation of the <strong>Charbray</strong> breed. All<br />
bulls are early maturing animals that have<br />
exceptional temperaments and great growth<br />
for age. We believe that will do a great job for<br />
stud masters and commercial breeders.<br />
