With another 6 bulls on offer this year,<br />
the Marlegoo team in <strong>2016</strong> includes a<br />
selection of 3 lovely polled bulls as well as<br />
one scurred bull. Moreover, the quality we<br />
are most impressed with this year is the<br />
beautiful temperaments of these young<br />
future sires.<br />
Two stud sires are responsible for this<br />
years line up, and were also represented by<br />
progeny in the 2105 sale team. Marlegoo<br />
ElZorro (P) and Huntington Gavyn (Sc), both<br />
gold coloured sires, have produced another<br />
solid line of progeny. This will be the last<br />
bull progeny on offer from Gavyn and only a<br />
small number of calves will be available from<br />
Zorro’s 2015 drop as both sires have now<br />
been sold on.<br />
The dams of our <strong>2016</strong> team are from<br />
some of our most productive female<br />
lines. Originating from Marlegoo Monica,<br />
Marlegoo Diva and Palgrove Digna maternal<br />
lines, 3 of our sale bulls dams are also<br />
polled, with 2 of the sale team having both<br />
polled sire and dam.<br />
We are even more excited about next<br />
years’ sale team, with the calves weaned<br />
this year showing wonderful growth for<br />
age, mobility and easy fleshing ability early<br />
on. We are also seeing exceptionally good<br />
boned polled calves, with some of our best<br />
carcass weaner calves being polled.<br />
