Breeding cattle should be simple, basic and
uncomplicated and at Rosewood that is the
case with breeding our stud and commercial
animals. The stud itself was established from
a commercial herd that posses attributes
that we as livestock producers strive for.
At Rosewood we are never satisfied and
continue to try and improve. As our herd
grows, the attributes that we strive for
become more prevalent. Over the years
we have only ever used the best genetics
available, at the start Greenfields had a major
Leading Sire Huntington Honky Tonk Hero
influence on the herd and in the last ten years
Huntington blood has taken our herd to a
new level. I believe in Charbrays and the way
I go about breeding them and have vision for
what I aim to produce. This year I am excited
with the first time offering of Huntington
Honky Tonk Hero's sons. One poll and two
dehorned bulls which show true Charbray
characteristics and will breed consistent,
functional animals. All Rosewood animals are
100% Charbray and to me that means the
genuine article.
