Our Jambin based Greenfields Charbray stub
continues to strive to improve the quality of
our herd. With the depth of breeding that we
continue to maintain.
Anne and I both believe this quality is putting
us in an excellent position to breed the
animals that fits into any herd based anywhere
in Australia.
It is quite evident that we are breading a
consistent line of cattle that still shows good
growth, fertility and temperament. Softness
if also a trait that we maintain by utilizing the
generation bred females with specifically
selected Charbray sires.
Our recent success at this year Callide
Dawson Carcass Competition where we
came first in the grain fed trade male or female
class, shows that we are heading in the right
direction to meet the required market.
In this year’s sale team of 11 sires there are 4
Polly’s with all sire showing great strength and
attributes validating the excellent traits of the
Charbray bread. At the 2016 National sale we
are selling lots 63 to 69 and 87 to 90.
