he can make sheep's eyes at a pretty woman without<br />

worrying. That's why, in cities like Berlin and Vienna, it's<br />

entirely the proper thing to give our passing guests some<br />

liberty. We've everything to gain on the political level—not to<br />

speak of the fact that it always brings in a little bundle of foreign<br />

currency.<br />

When I went to Rome, I received a most agreeable kind<br />

of welcome. The Duce saw to it that I had all the necessary<br />

time to look in peace at the works of art that interested<br />

me. As a result of that visit, I took care that the Italian<br />

The fact that the Japanese have retained their political<br />

philosophy, which is one of the essential reasons for their<br />

successes, is due to their having been saved in time from the<br />

views of Christianity. Just as in Islam, there is no kind of<br />

terrorism in the Japanese State religion, but, on the contrary,<br />

a promise of happiness. This terrorism in religion is the product,<br />

to put it briefly, of a Jewish dogma, which Christianity<br />

has universalised and whose effect is to sow trouble and confusion<br />

in men's minds. It's obvious that, in the realm of belief,
