STAFF INDUCTION AND TRAINING
Staff Training
Our wide and extensive experience allows us to analyse training needs and to create a suitable training programme for every employee.
Caterplus will recruit, train, and develop people who are proud to provide excellent service. We will establish personal development plans for all staff.
Training needs will be identified and regular appraisals with each member of staff will allow them to achieve their full potential.
Staff Induction
The initial induction training programme is designed to be presented at least one week before the start of the new contract term. This ensures that all
the input is freshly retained during the busy opening period. Early induction is designed to help the team to feel confident about the standards and
procedures that are expected of them and to enable them to concentrate on carrying out their roles effectively.
Our induction training concentrates on giving the staff the knowledge and skills to enable them to adapt to any changes in their roles, and to approach
working with their new employer positively and enthusiastically.
All staff will receive induction training and will cover the following areas, as a minimum:
Welcome to Caterplus including our values and ethos
Clear operational objectives, detailing the areas that Caterplus will be focussing on at Barrland Court
Uniform and appearance
Basic principals of customer service
Essentials of food hygiene and safety
Health and Safety including:
- Responsibilities
- Fire and evacuation
- First aid
- Accident procedures
- Equipment training
- COSHH
Terms and Conditions of employment
Job skills training
All Caterplus staff are required to have enhanced DBS certificates to work for us. We have 100% compliance to this rule.
