Hom ew ork Can Be Your Enem y and Your Best Friend!

Hom ew ork is assigned t o everybody at least once in t heir lifet im es.
People eit her love or hat e hom ew ork. Most people hat e hom ew ork and t hink
it ?s a w ast e of t im e. Ot hers, on t he ot her hand, believe hom ew ork can be
beneficial. Teachers assign hom ew ork for pract ice and t o st udy, but t hey
som et im es go a lit t le t oo crazy. They end up assigning an ext rem e am ount of
hom ew ork t hat t hey expect st udent s t o do in a single night ! Hom ew ork can be
very st ressful, so should hom ew ork be assigned or not ?
Many st udent s get assigned a lot of hom ew ork. The st udent s pret t y
m uch get hom ew ork in every class, every single day of t he w eek. It ?s
ridiculous because w e are t rapped in t his ?prison? for 7 hours a day, t hen w e
go hom e and have 4 hours of hom ew ork t o do in about 2 hours. Plent y of
st udent s have m any project s and hard t est s t o st udy for on t op on t heir
hom ew ork. Most st udent s part icipat e in school sport s and clubs, and even do
sport s and clubs out side of school. I know a lot of st udent s at Knoch Middle
School, w ho do sport s or clubs for t he school and st ill do part i out side of
school, t oo. The school t ries t o prom ot e school sport s and clubs, but t hey
shouldn?t if t hey are going t o give t he st udent s so m uch hom ew ork. We can?t
even part icipat e in t he sport s or clubs if w e have so m uch hom ew ork.
Many st udent s w ast e t heir free t im e on hom ew ork. We get assigned a
lot of hom ew ork and w e have t o do t hem on t op of w hat w e w ant t o do in our
free t im e. It ?s sickening because w e have t o spend our free t im e doing
hom ew ork. Now a days children are t rapped inside school, and t hen w hen
t hey get hom e, t hey are t rapped inside doing hom ew ork. It ?s sad because t hey
don?t even get enough t im e t o go run out side and t urn off t heir energy or
relax. This explains w hy som e st udent s are so row dy w hen t hey are in school.
Fam ilies aren?t as close as t hey use t o be because t hey don?t have any t im e t o
sit dow n, relax and play gam es or w at ch TV because t hey?re spending all t hat
t im e doing hom ew ork. I know t his because even m y ow n fam ily are so busy
and w e don?t have t im e t o spend t o t oget her. We only have t im e on t he
w eekends.
Then, aft er t he children get hom e from t heir act ivit y and do hom ew ork
it ?s like close t o m idnight w hen t hey finish. Som e st udent s don?t even get t o
finish t heir hom ew ork because it 's so lat e. Then t he next day t hey have t o
w ake up so early and have t o go back t o t he school. St udent s eit her get in
