St orks is a fam ily m ovie about a st ork nam ed Junior (Andy Sam berg) and a girl nam ed
Tulip (Kat ie Crow n). St orks used t o deliver babies, but now t hey deliver packages for a global
int ernet ret ail giant . Junior is about t o be prom ot ed t o t he boss of t his corporat ion on one
condit ion, he fires Tulip. Tulip w as a baby t hat w as never delivered so t he st orks keep her t o
w ork at t heir post al service unt il she t urns 18. Inst ead of firing her, Junior decides t o put her
in charge of let t er sort ing because t he st orks no longer receive let t ers since t hey?ve st opped
delivering babies and no one w ould know she is st ill t here.
While t his is happening, a boy, Nat e Gardner (Ant on St arkm an), is t rying t o get his
parent s, Sarah and Henry Gardner (Jennifer Anist on and Ty Burrell), t o get him a baby
brot her. They say t hat he is all t hey need, but Nat e is not okay w it h t hat . He finds an old
pam phlet in t he at t ic explaining how t o get t he st orks t o deliver a baby. He decides t o w rit e a
let t er him self, w hich leads t o t he conflict of t he m ovie.
At t he m ail room Tulip sees Nat e?s let t er com e t hrough t he syst em and, despit e Junior ?s
inst ruct ions t o not leave t he m ail room , goes t o find him . He not ices her absence from t he
m ail room and rushes t o t ake her back. They st art fight ing about w het her or not t o fulfill t he
let t er and deliver t he baby but end up accident ally st art ing t he m achine t hat creat es t he
babies. They decide t o deliver t he baby before anyone finds out , and Junior and Tulip head
out int o t he w orld.
Overall, t his w as a decent film t hat t he ent ire fam ily can enjoy. There is hum or for kids
and ot her jokes t hat are hint ed at for an older audience. Though som e of t he jokes feel a
lit t le forced(like being places t hey don?t need t o be), it holds up by t he end. The plot can be a
lit t le m essy at t im es, like not explaining w hat happened t o t he babies, but not so m uch t hat
it is confusing t hrough t he ent ire m ovie. I w ould give t his m ovie a 7 out of 10 and recom m end
any fam ily t o go see it .
