Student Council Chocolates
As many people probably know, the Student Council has been carrying
out their yearly chocolate sale since September. Each member of the
Student Council is selling chocolate bars. There is a large variety of
delicious chocolates such as Peanut Butter Meltaway, Roasted Almond,
and Salted Pretzel. Each chocolate bar costs $2, and the money goes
towards paying for field trips and other school events. They can be bought
from any member of the Student Council before or after school, so get
one today!
Join FBLA
Are you interested in getting a job in the business field? If so, then FBLA is
the club for you! FBLA stands for Future Business Leaders of America.
During FBLA, business topics are discussed, such as fundraisers and field
trip topics. We usually have a plan for what we are discussing during that
meeting. During some of the meetings, we work on our competitions that
we selected at a previous meeting. Your competition is a test or a project
that competes against other kids in Pennsylvania. There are plenty of
options for different skill sets, such as computer terms, business spelling,
and many more. After you select your competition, you will have time to
work on it. Winners usually receive awards and other bonuses. Every year,
we have a candy cane sale to fundraise our field trip. The trips are usually
to a local business and we take a tour of the business. The meetings for
FBLA are one selected Monday every month. The next meeting is
November 7. The meetings are after school till 3:30p.m. in Mrs. Bocci?s
room (104). Sign up today!
