The Inside Track

Now it's really driving season! I understand
that “officially” the Maverick driving season
kicked off in February with our driving
schools and first DE. I don't know about you, but for
me wind chill factors in the single digits, cold rain,
and snow just don't say, “Let's buckle up and drive.”
Now it's springtime in Texas and the driving is great.
Our first autocross at Texas Motor Speedway was
super, a little windy, but otherwise the weather was fine. The DE on
April 8-9 was excellent. Again, a bit windy at times, but hey, this is Texas.
The track conditions were superb and everyone was eager to learn more
about the new section. The event was well attended, but not too crowded,
so everyone got lots of seat time. Some of the instructors teamed up
during the red sessions to help analyze different approaches. I was able
to receive some helpful pointers from a couple of the real masters, Jim
Buckley and Steve Kent. Those of you that were watching people drive
in circles, or more correctly, ovals missed an outstanding weekend.
Now that things are in full gear, we've got lots of opportunities
for folks to sharpen their driving skills; autocross, rallies, time trials,
tours, and of course our big three day Club Race and Solo-only DE
on May 27, 28, and 29th. By the way, if you're not going to be racing
or driving in the DE, please consider volunteering to help out during
the weekend. The folks that run this event make it look easy, but that's
only because of all the planning and hard work they put into it. They
really can use your help. I'll see you there!

Maverick Minutes

April 4 Board meeting started 5 minutes early
and we went Clockwise around the table in
honor of Daylight Savings Time.
Rocky started us off with an apology to the
Autocross Committee for calling their “Count only
the first four runs” rule a stupid idea. He still thinks
it's a bad idea but feels bad at saying it was a stupid
idea. Charlie said to take the issue up with James and James took the
opportunity of everyone looking at him to talk about needing a new
laptop. He said the whole package would be ~$1,000. Rocky said to
put it in the AX budget and to give Jeff an amended budget. A motion
was issued anyway with a second and it was passed with a unanimous
board vote and one dissenting guest vote.
On to Ed Gross reporting that Steve Boyd has made good
progress on getting the Goodie Store up on the Maverick website. Ed
is getting more requests for this Goodie Store option.
Tracey Gross brought a couple chocolate Porsches samples with
the Maverick logo on the hood. Not having seen them before she was
quite enthralled and wanted to make them available in the Goodie
Store even though us old-timers have seen them around for many
years. She also has been working hard on the summer schedule and
has a bunch of stuff packed in there. May at Mayo's is on Sat. May 20;
June 18 Father's Day picnic will be at the wonderful home of Dan and
Linda Ruehs (since Casey's are having yard work done this spring,
Dave feels his Irish Luck will keep the project going well into the
summer); Mid-July will have a Murder Mystery at the SaltGrass in
Grand Prairie (min. 30 people so will have a PayPal pre-pay); and July
26 will be a Yankees/Ranger baseball game with bulk tickets at half
price (no, these won't be the bleacher seats in the far reaches of the
outfield, but she couldn't remember if they were off 1st or 3rd base, is
there a difference?); AND she is working with Teri Davis for an
ending site of the August Hare & Hound Rally Post Parade Party.
By this time we had but a big dent on the chocolate P-cars and it
was Wendy's turn to talk. The TMS autocross had 90 entrants and she
turned the proceeds over to Treasurer Jeff. She reported that after
expenses she showed a $1,700 profit for the day and thought that fit
nicely with James' request for a new laptop (hmmm family coercion
here??). She explained that when the laptop problems encountered at
TMS stumped herself, James AND Darron it was something huge
and it needed to be addressed. The April time trial will be sponsored
by Park Place so she suggested we all wear our PP shirts that were so
nicely provided by Andrew and Randall at TMS. Wendy continued
that she's working on the bugs encountered with the PayPal system
and should have them worked out by the next event.
Wendy and the Slipstream crew have continued to work on the
distribution delays and have heard from the Dallas PO that they think
their problems have been worked out. We'll continue to use the Dallas
distribution for a couple more months to see. This month will be a
color cover on both the issue and the membership directory. (If you
didn't already notice, take a look. It's spectacular.)
Joel Nannis is still not able to access the National Membership
Directory but hears they are working on it. His records reflect 1905
members, including family and affiliates.
Bryan Bell is working on the April 22 Time Trial and is planning
on online results posting. He's in Good Shape. He's questioning why
we have so many non-Porsche entrants compared to the Porsche
entrants and is considering lowering the Porsche driver's entry
and raising the non-P entry fees.
Treasurer Jeff submitted a 2006 to date financial statement for
April Slipstream and will submit quarterly.
Mike Brodigan has nearly completed the 2006 advertiser job and
is looking for a successor. I believe Lisa Steele has volunteered.
Safety man Joe McGlohen says we have safe events however with
the extended track at MSR we will require significantly more corner
workers. He asks that existing workers bring their wives and friends
to fill in. Tracey asked if he would purchase the beer for the May at
Mayo's event and he will oblige.
Teri Davis' rally had 11 cars which included 2 Mini's. This one
was a little more challenging than the previous two. Her next rally will
be a Tulip Rally and the final one a Hare & Hound.
Charlie Davis says the Truckster still runs and he has all the fire
extinguishers. This wasn't meant as a reflection of the shape of the
Truckster, just that it is where the fire extinguishers are stored for the
Time Trials and Autocrosses.
Brian Petri was happy with the "Blazing Success" of the first
Autocross at TMS. He has had a few complaints on the new rules and
the main issue is being fixed. He's ready for the Mineral Wells
Autocross #2 on April 23 with preregistration and pay online.
Lanean Hughes has a Thank You letter from Lisa Huffaker from
the Hope Shelter thanking the volunteers that helped put up the
insulation on the new home. Sheet rock will be going up and Lanean
will be putting out another plea for painters. She also needs a long bed
pickup truck to transport kitchen countertops from North Dallas to
the Shelter. She is also looking for volunteers to work at the Houston
Grand Prix, Thurs.-Sun. on Mother's Day weekend. Closer to home,
she is needing volunteers for the Club Race at MSR.
Michael Wingfield said the April DE has not sold out but
they have made their budget numbers. The May Club Race DE
registration is open.
Marie Wingfield has been thinking about the National Awards
mentioned last month and suggests we nominate Kevin Hardison for
Enthusiast of the Year. She will work on the write up with anyone who
would care to help. She also asked why we don't hear anything about
working at TMS for the NASCAR races any more. Lanean responded
that TMS has been using schools and scout volunteers.
We're back around the clock to Rocky. He's been talking with
Clint Blackman about the Sunday afternoon leisure lunch drives and
Andy Miller is ready to turn over the tour chair job to someone new.
Old Mavericks Don and Taxi Breithaupt have asked the region to help
financially support the fall Boxtoberfest. VP Mark Gluck's dad is in
the final stages of cancer. Please send some supportive thoughts
Mark's way.
The vote on the Bylaws changes will take place at the April DE
since enough Mavericks will be there to make a quorum. Secretary
Jan will have ballots available and will tally after the event reporting
the results to Rocky.
It was brought up that the scheduled Autocross in August will be
HOT... (duh) and conflicts with Parade. So the calendar was brought
out and it was moved a couple weeks earlier into July. Brian Petri will
check with Bob Manskey to make sure the track is available.
Everybody was through talking so the mini-grouplets broke
apart for more talking.

From The Driver’s Seat

Short and sweet. That’s what this month’s
article is all about. It’s jam packed with so
many other things that I doubt you’ll want to
read what I have to say. *grin*
After reading the articles about the Photo
Rally in Salina and about the Hill Country Tour,
I am really sad I missed them. There are many
times when I wish I had a time machine or a cloning device
where I could do it all. But, as we all know, life is all about
choices. We are fortunate in this region to have so many
wonderful choices, too. What about this month? Will we go to
the May at Mayo’s dinner social and enjoy Babe’s amazing fried
chicken? (Wouldn’t miss it!) Will we drive in the double time
trial weekend in Mineral Wells (sponsored by Park Place
Porsche!)? (Absolutely!) Will we finally go on a tour to Palo
Pinto? (Mark it down!) What about the Lunches and the Happy
Hour? (Whenever possible!) Lastly, what about the Club Race
on Memorial Day Weekend (sponsored by Boardwalk
Porsche)? (We’ll for sure be there!) I can see my calendar filling
up already. Ahhh, but it’s a good thing...great friends, good
food, and a fantastic time to be had by all.

Photo Rally

It appears that one of the best kept secrets in the Maverick club
are the rallies that Teri and Charlie run. These are designed as
fun days in the car. What can be compared to driving around
aimlessly looking for obscure items Charlie has photographed?
Jean and I have participated in a few of these rallies and
usually do pretty well. This past event Jean had a conflict and I
recruited my Grandson to be my navigator. Considering the
result, I guess it is
pretty clear where the
strength of our
“team” is, certainly
not with the driver.
This latest rally
was one of the most
organized and well
planned events I have

been to. Called a
Photo Rally, the
object was to find the
items pictured and
answer a question to
verify that you
actually found it. We
were provided with a
nice map of the area,
about 10 square miles
in the Trophy Club
area, with roads that
might contain the
selected items highlighted. This avoided the problem of deciding
where to go. Of course all of the roads marked did not have an
item, but all of the items were on marked roads.
A total of 23 photos of landmarks were provided, with a max
score of 33 possible. Some of the more obscure items had bonus
points available. Three tie-breaker questions were also included.
Eleven teams left the starting point in Solana-Westlake at
about 3 pm on Saturday afternoon. With the cars all leaving in
different directions, it must have been like seeing a Keystone
Cops event. Nine of the teams were PCA members, and two were
from the Mini Club. A two-hour time limit was set, otherwise
some of us would still be looking for the elusive white buffalo.
The top score was 29 points and all tie breakers correct. A great
job by the Foltz team. Close behind, with 27 points, were Ed and
Tracy Gross. Third place was captured by one of the Mini Club
entrants. Here is the complete score listing:

‘tulip’ gimmick rally. The route will be in Parker County, and any
of you who worked or ran the Parade rally know how much fun

Hill Country Porsche Tour

Clyde Barrow, Bonnie Parker and the rest of their gang paid a
visit to Hillsboro, TX on April 30, 1932. They robbed a gas
station and, in the process, “accidentally” shot and killed the
owner. Some 74 years later, the Maverick Region Porsche Club
descended upon that same town as the muster point for the 3-day Hill
Country tour. Our cars were better and our intentions peaceful, but
some felt it was we who were being robbed by the gas station.
13 cars and nearly twice that many people headed out under
glorious weather. Farm-to-market and ranch roads constitute the
majority of paved thoroughfares linking the lightly populated
towns throughout the Hill Country. Due to limited local traffic, the
roads are in great shape and are very popular with leisure drivers. Of
particular note for our driving pleasure on this first morning were
FM 580 (S) and 581 (W). We came across more than one group of
misguided souls driving Z-3’s, and of course motorcycles were
everywhere, but they all seemed to be going in the opposite
direction of us so it was cool. After 3-1/2 hours of driving we were
ready for lunch.
Cooper’s BBQ in Llano was recently named by Texas Monthly
as one of the top three BBQ restaurants in the state. The drill here
is that you line up by the pit, point out what you want and they sell
it to you by the pound. Unusual for this type of operation is that
they actually manage to bar code everything you buy and scan it at
the checkout. That surely speeds things up, but it’s just a little
unexpected at a place where they cook your food in a steel pit
sunken in the dirt.
After lunch we tackled the Willow City Loop (WCL). This area
is known for an uncommon density and variety of wildflowers and
attracts tourists from all over. However, due to the lack of rainfall
recently, there was a dearth of wildflowers, so we basically just drove
the loop and enjoyed the roads. At the end of the loop, or at the
beginning depending on how you look at it, is an establishment
called the Knot in the Loop Saloon. This place had been a barn up
until three years ago, and you can figure that out rather quickly
upon entering. However, the proprietors are friendly, they have
restrooms, and the locals stare at you with the look that says “you
ain’t from around these parts, are ya?” A round of soft drinks for all
and we were on our way.
Fredericksburg was the next significant town on our agenda.

don’t need, a majority of the group elected to stay and take it in.
Stalwarts pressed onward to the Haven River Inn, our overnight
base in Comfort.
Saturday morning came quickly and we lit out with the
expectation of more great driving. Notable on the first leg of the trip
was a rapid and dramatic transformation from nearly barren scrub
land to lush green foliage. It doesn’t take much water to get native
Texas plants to green up and this area seemed to define who got rain
and who didn’t. First stop of the day: the Frio Canyon Motorcycle
Stop in Leakey. It is located at the intersection of FM 337 and Hwy
83 which forms the locus of any Hill Country drive.

As you first enter the Motorcycle Stop you can’t help but
conclude that Houston is not the only city in Texas without zoning
laws. However, the place didn’t collapse while we were there, and the
hundred or so motorcyclists who were also in attendance seemed to
enjoy our vehicles as much as we did theirs. With restroom and
T-shirt needs addressed we were on our way. The rest of the
morning’s tour took us past Stonehenge II and a replica of Easter
Island. These recreations, located near Hunt, were built in 1990 and
are roughly 2/3 size of the originals. Because they sort of appear to
you after rounding a curve, there is a certain surprise element to this
art which adds to its entertainment value. An additional surprise
element came shortly thereafter when a small boulder jumped out
in front of one our vehicles in an apparent suicide attempt. We are
happy to report that both rock and vehicle are fine. The pilot of said
vehicle is still recuperating.
We concluded the morning drive back in Leaky, this time
stopping at Vinny’s Italian Restaurant for lunch. The food was very
good and the atmosphere cordial. The 78-year old proprietor looks
to be about 20 years younger, and he mentioned to us that his
mother is 108. This propensity for long lives is probably due to good
genes, but knocking back some of their lasagna might be a
good alternative to that “apple a day” thing.
Our afternoon agenda took us on some notably curvy roads
and required a good bit of attention paying. It is in areas like this
that the Porsche really shines and drivers get to forget about the
payments and think about the pedals. Smiles abounding, we made
our way to the Lone Star Motorcycle Museum near Vanderpool.
The real gear heads among us enjoyed checking out the rare
examples of bikes from around the world and through the century.

Non gear heads sought satisfaction from pecan pie at the Ace café
located within the museum. From there we headed back to the
Haven River Inn where dinner was also served as a special
concession to the group. The entrée was a honey pecan chicken.
Upon requesting the recipe, we found the sauce was essentially half
butter and half honey. You could probably put that on a shingle
and have people asking for seconds, but this chicken dish was
exceptional and a real treat.
Sunday morning’s drive started to angle us back to the DFW
area on roads that continued to amaze. We drove past the
Falkenstein Castle which is near Burnet. It has been filmed as part of
the “Bridezilla” series on the We network, and the plans for it were
actually taken from those drawn for a castle designed but not built
for King Ludwig II of Bavaria. Not unlike the experience of seeing
Stonehenge II coming around the curve, this castle can cause you to

forget you’re supposed to be looking at the road. Soon thereafter we
attacked a portion of State Road 4 which is uncommonly beautiful,
but also contains several roller coaster-like sections that are quite
exhilarating when driven properly. At the conclusion of SR 4 we
settled down and took lunch at Napoli’s in Lampasas.
This lunch was more leisurely than usual and we had a chance to
make inquires of the lady on our tour who had apparently managed to
discreetly change her clothing several times while riding in an open
top convertible. Of course, this writer pledged to guard her identity
with the zeal of a White House reporter. So Cathy, you can rest easy
knowing your secret is safe with me.
The day concluded with a final stop in Gatesville where we
refueled, said our goodbyes and the headed home to scrape about 9
pounds of bugs off the car and anticipate the next tour!

Back to the Future IV

When we last left this story just before the turn of the century
(1999) I was in a first place tie with the other 944 driver who
will remain nameless but for the sake of the tale we will call
him “Mike Lockas.” After the nail biting finish to the season I broke the
timing belt on my 944S bending 14 of the 16 valves and 2 weeks after I
completed that repair the clutch felt it was it's turn to be replaced. I sold
the car, packed my stuff, and moved to Las Vegas.
One afternoon I was driving down the road and went to pass a
truck, as I pulled around I noticed an oncoming car, already committed
I stepped on the gas. The speedo was just about to 90MPH and
BLAM!!!! Two flamed lines behind the car.
As the smoke settles I look at my watch. The year is 2005, the
location, Dallas, Texas. It seems a worm hole in the space-time
continuum has brought me to the future out of fuel. As with all time
travelers it is customary to check on your friends. Not wanting to
affect the time line I found another 944S and returned to the
Maverick Club just in time for the last Autocross of 2005. While it has
only been a few days for me, my friends have been driving for 5 years
and have improved to the point that some are instructors. The winter
closed in and I found the time machine still out of fuel. Due to
security problems it seems getting plutonium is even harder than it
was in 1999. So it looks like I'll be staying for a while.
Marty Lumpkin finds the course and his way back to autocrossing
after a “break” of several years. Welcome back Marty!
With more time on my hands I felt it was time to improve my
driving skills. I signed up for my first DE at MotorSport Ranch. The
first day was very wet and rained most of the day. The track was so
slick I spun the car twice going so slow I almost got out of the car and
stopped the spin by hand. My instructor was very happy to see me,
though, as my car has heat (seems most race cars delete this option -
go figure). Sunday was nice and sunny they opened the new section
of track. WOW! Great day! Overall I had put 84 miles of track time
on the car in just two days!! If you have a chance to attend, I highly
recommend it. I would also like to note I changed the timing belt
before the season, lesson learned, sorry back to the story.
Next up the Maverick autocross school. Two more days of fun!
My instructor, who will also remain nameless (Mark Steele) was great,
as the shirt said, “It's not how fast you go, it's how you go fast.” If you
are new to the sport or been at it a while this is a must do! In my case
the extra time in the seat helps the mind speed up, keeps you looking
to the next corner you may find yourself applying that to more than
autocrossing. As I stated earlier I was checking on old friends. Jan

Mayo caught me looking at her "S" (this is an inside joke please feel
free to ask Jan about her "S" at anytime - it's white by the way) Boxster
S that is. Wendy and James doing great, daughter getting older, but if
I did not know better I would think all of you had time machines as
well. Maybe we all have fuel issues. The nameless Mr. Lockas has
made my time travel worth while and to all the new and old members
I look forward to the TIME we will be sharing in 2006.

Autocross # 1 is in the past now. It was great. I should have
brought a kite it was so windy. I worried the Mini's were going to blow
away. I learned a very valuable lesson during the event I feel I should
share. It seems a cornerworker with a full bladder will cause numerous
red flags, pylons to be killed (and drug all the way to the finish
line), the timing computer system to fail, and last (but not least) the
timing lights to blow over. Sorry for all the delays. I promise to stop at
the restroom first next time, my bad! Now you know why all these
things happened at one time. Moving right along... If you have been
keeping track of this tale I have an answer to a question I bet you did
not ask (How much does a DE and autocross school help your driving?)
Last October I was 10 seconds behind Nameless and am now
down to less than 4 seconds behind, a 6.5 second improvement. Don't
make me bring out the time machine for the other few seconds!!
A last thought...If you used to do this, you don't have to travel
though time to come back, I bet you miss the TIME we share as much
as I did.

Insulating the Future

On Saturday, March 27th a band of intrepid insulators met at
the Hope Shelter to put in some good ole sweat and elbow
grease into completing the basic shell of the new shelter –
namely installing the exterior wall insulation prior to drywall going
up Porschephiles present included Mark Gluck and his son Erich,
“Mr. Membership” Joel Nannis, Bob & Clara Lewis, Bill Middleton,
and Lisa Huffaker.
Once some basic “division of labor” was accomplished, the work
began in earnest and staple guns began going off all through the
place. Thanks to Lisa’s previous experience with this task, the wall
insulation had been bought pre-cut into proper lengths to fit the wall
spaces, so very little time was lost trimming and fitting to height at
each stud bay. With work literally proceeding from all corners of the
building, in no time the exterior walls were completed and installing
of sound insulation of the interior walls took place.
During the process, a quick inspection of systems already in
place was done. Electrical roughs are 100% complete, plumbing
roughs are similarly 100% complete, and heating/air conditioning
roughs are nearing completion. All exterior finishes and trims are
in, and the property is 100% weathertight and lockable.
With a lunch break provided by Lisa (many thanks for the
Braum’s burgers and treats!) on site, the entire process took from
about 9:30 AM until just after 2 PM.
With this step complete, installation of the interior drywall
can take place, followed by interior decoration – installing

cabinetry, closet, and interior doors; floor, wall, and ceiling
finishes; trimming out the electrical, plumbing, and air conditioning,
appliance installations, and other trims and finishes.
There will be more to do – and more help needed for the push
to the finish line! We will need people with interior decoration
experience – painting, hanging blinds & drapes, floor finishes,
installing light fixtures, hanging ceiling fans, putting on light
switch covers, wall plates, trims, etc. – stay tuned for more details!

April Maverick DE Report

With great anticipation, the long-awaited (for me)
chance to dust the cobwebs off of my stale track
driving skills arrived April 8th and 9th at Motorsports
Ranch. I’d signed up for the Feb DE, but was only able to attend
the wet Saturday session, due to a mechanical issue. As a result,
I had not run on the new track. So, the fact that the weather
forecast was a good one, and the car was 100%, things were
looking up. The weather actually started out a little cool and
certainly windy, but by Saturday afternoon, it was pretty nice.
Sunday’s weather was flat out spectacular. Why can’t all
weekends in North Texas be so nice?
I was Blue solo the last DE I’d attended on Memorial Day
weekend of ’05 @ MSR, but all Blue group drivers needed to
re-qualify for solo on the new track layout. This was a good
thing. The new track with it’s variety of elevations, apexes
and blind spots comes at you fast the first session! I think
the general consensus from drivers of all skill levels, is that the
new addition is a little tricky.
My instructor turned out to be Rick Randall, which I was
happy about, as we both have the same year 911s, and he has
a very good understanding of how these cars behave. So off
we went, and I must commend Rick, as I do all of my past
instructors, on his patience with me!
The first session was spent just trying to remember the
layout of the new section. Thank goodness that on each lap I
had 1.7 miles of the old track, which I was familiar with, to
catch my breath and prepare to go through the new terrain. As
it turns out, this reprieve each lap served me pretty well
throughout the weekend as I learned the new portion of track.
I started to get a feel for it all, and while running the old
portion, I could think over my many mistakes, and how I
could improve the next lap. I ran the first session that
afternoon solo, and Rick joined me again for the last one to
see how I was doing, and keep me going in the right direction.
By the end of Saturday, it was starting to come together for me
and I slept well that night.
On Sunday morning, Rick turned me loose by myself
for the first blue session to see how I felt. If I felt up to it, I
had the opportunity for a yellow group check ride the session

immediately after. It felt really good, so I went for my
yellow checkout, and made it. Two back-back sessions was
really awesome. I had to be grinning from ear-ear after the
yellow run.
The rest of Sunday was spent working on improvement of
my skills. I was also able to participate in the yellow classroom
session, where we all discussed the new sections we were learning.
I find this dialog to be extremely helpful and insightful.
The hardest turn for me is the triple apex. It just never felt
like I hit it right. I had some runs better than others, but I
know I’m leaving a lot of time on the table through there. This
will give me plenty to work on in May when we head back out
there. Change that; this will give me one more thing to work
on in May!
MSR in its 3.1 mile layout is a fun and challenging track.
I’d be really interested to see how the 1.3 mile course runs by
itself. I think you’d be a little spent after running a session on
that one, as you’d be constantly braking, turning and shifting.
I also wonder how the old 1.7 mile version would feel now?
It’s neat how a great weekend such as this will get you off
to a good start for your work week. With such great sponsors,
corner workers, instructors, event organizers, people and
facilities, we are indeed blessed here in the Maverick region. As
they said on a beer commercial once, “it doesn’t get any better
than this”!

Happy Hour at Mondo’s

It was back to Mondo’s for our March 16 happy hour. We had
thirty-two in attendance for the happy hour, and a few of us
decided that, after making a meal of the free hors d’oeuvres,
there was no real need to stay for dinner!
Loren Rappoport and Lori Mauthe were attending their first
happy hours, and Lori told us a great story about how she
decided on her new 2005 Boxster S, and why she went all the way
to Florida to get it. Alex Tayem brought two visitors – his son Joe
and friend Sam Shanks.

You have just joined one of the best and most active PCA
Regions in the country! Some clubs focus solely on social
events, while others focus on just show and shine concours
events. Maverick Region is a club that focuses on providing
our members with the tools necessary to have the ultimate in
driving experiences.
You will notice that our region has many Time Trials,
Autocrosses, and Drivers’ Education (DE) events (in addition
to a yearly Club Race). This has been the spirit of the region
for quite some time. We have some of the finest instructors in
the country. Make sure you take full advantage of the driving
experiences we have to offer.
Racing is not ALL we focus on, though. If racing doesn’t
suit you, we have monthly happy hours, three monthly lunch
gatherings, regular dinner socials, frequent driving tours on
some fabulous roads in and around Texas, driving rallies (fun
for the whole family), and regular opportunities to support
our perpetual charity, the Hope Shelter.
If we don’t have what you’re looking for, just ask us... we
might just add something extra to the calendar.
