A Huffaker - Hughes Hope House Christmas

In between the weekend of the Maverick Holiday
Party at the brand new home of Bill and Virginia
Campbell and the following weekend Holiday
Party for the clients and staff of the Huffaker Hughes Hope
House, Clara Lewis
and Chris Hamilton
were Super Elves and
pulled off the best
Hope House party in
recent history!
What a Party!
as a happy reminder of a special Christmas. Thank you
again generous Mavericks for your help in this wonderful
charity event.
Armed with donated items
and a wealth of Wal-Mart
gift cards from the Maverick
Holiday Party (Thank you
generous Mavs), Clara and
Chris made up gift bags for
all the moms and kids. Lisa
Huffaker and Clara set up
snacks and sandwiches and Chris arranged the gift bags for
easy distribution while Linda Bambina and Jan Mayo went
wacko with the decorations. Clara, our Magnet Maverick
for Hope, had arranged with
Rich Keesecker’s Bavarian
Dance Group to perform (see
www.stvalmrausch.com)
then special guest Santa
Claus (Thank you, Larry
Ramsey) made all the kids
laugh and beam in his jolly
presence. Such Fun.
Once the toys and gift
bags had been dispersed by
Santa and his elves, and the
food was mostly consumed, Jean Frick played her beautiful
violin and lead everyone in a round of all the favorite
Christmas Carols. Super

smiles all around the room
and posed special Santa
family shots for each of the
families. Prints of the
family shots will be sent to
Lisa at the Hope House to
give to each of the mothers
