On the SD, there are speed limit<br />

speeds, so the drivers are to pay attention<br />

to the speedometer<br />

event.. For the DE,<br />

the speedometer is<br />

only important in the<br />

paddock area. On the<br />

SD route, we had to<br />

stay in the right hand<br />

lane, regardless of<br />

how much fun the left<br />

turn would have been<br />

to “hit the apex,” yet<br />

to do that we would<br />

have had to cross over<br />

into the left lane into<br />

oncoming traffic, and<br />

that wouldn’t be a<br />

good ending. And<br />

that would be another difference –<br />

one way versus two way traffic! The<br />

“line” means staying in a lane. For<br />

the DE, the “line” means making<br />

sure to optimize the full track width<br />
