Section 3i - The Curriculum<br />
Equipment & Stationery<br />
During their time in the Preparatory School (Years 1 - 6), pupils will require the following equipment,<br />
marked with their name and Ratcliffe College number.<br />
A pencil case – soft rather than tin<br />
HB pencils and a pencil sharpener<br />
Coloured pencil crayons<br />
Berol handwriting pen/fountain pen (blue ink) - Years 5 & 6<br />
Rubber - Years 4 - 6<br />
15cm and 30cm ruler - Years 3 - 6<br />
Glue (preferably the solid variety in a stick e.g. Pritt) - all Years<br />
180 o protractor - Years 5 & 6<br />
Mathematical compass – Years 5 & 6<br />
Recorder - Years 2 - 5<br />
A primary School calculator - Years 3 - 6<br />
An apron for painting - Years 1-5<br />
Named water bottle<br />
Exercise books are issued by the Class Teacher as necessary.<br />
Please note that Tippex is not allowed!<br />
We ask you to check regularly that your child has this equipment.<br />
