Donald<br />
I was luckily enough to go out to the<br />
Monart sales; Richard booked the hotel<br />
and flights and we headed off to the<br />
Emerald Isle. I had heard from other<br />
riders how nice the hotel was and we<br />
were not disappointed, it is one of the<br />
best spa hotels in the world. They have a<br />
selection of both three and four year old<br />
event horses for sale. The horses have<br />
been selected by Olympic riders who<br />
have a good eye for horses, and yes they<br />
do they had some super horses. It was<br />
very well organised by our local Polly<br />
and Niall Griffin, they did a fab job. Now<br />
I did not intend on buying anything but<br />
I got tempted......... so meet Donald, a<br />
super <strong>16</strong>.1 three year old by Loch Cruise,<br />
I was tempted by the fact that he looks so<br />
similar to Wally as a baby and boy does<br />
he jump. The reason why he is called<br />
Donald is that he has Golden Trump in<br />
his breeding and we purchased him on<br />
Election day when Donald Trump was<br />
elected, so I thought Donald; a man who<br />
will know how to influence people and<br />
win. Anna and I will back him and he<br />
will be turned away and back into work in<br />
Febuary.<br />
I am now officially now a Gain rider,<br />
sponsored by Gain Horse feeds, this has<br />
been a super transition as my horses are<br />
looking super, they have a super support<br />
team that you can speak to and they<br />
really are knowledgeable. Knowing I have<br />
their support 24/7 means so much as the<br />
horses’ diets needs to be managed 100%.<br />
I should also have some exciting news in<br />
the New Year too!<br />
I have enjoyed keeping you up to date<br />
One of our hunters<br />
with our events each month, and even<br />
more when people come up to me and let<br />
me know how much they have enjoyed<br />
following our team. We have some big<br />
aspirations next year the first being<br />
Badminton so in the Febuary edition I<br />
will be letting you know how our prep<br />
is going and yes we will be wearing over<br />
reach boots!!! From all of us here at Emma<br />
