The second running of the
Lincolnshire event, Norton Disney
run by Joe and Alison Weller
finished with all smiles.
Joe designs the cross country himself and
is keen to make regular changes to the
Spring and Autumn events.
An incredible score of 13.3 in the dressage
in BE90 section N was produced by Jemma
Cradock and the six year old Princess
Razelle who were having their second win
on the trot. Second place was taken by
Tina Canton who did anther good test to
score 20.
BE100 section A was won by Cariad Miles-
Taylor, on the twelve year old Midnight
Warrior. Finishing on their dressage score
of 29.5, to keep ahead of Eliza Stoddart
season in fine style. With a win in BE100
section B on her pony Gingerbread IV.
of the year by winning BE100 section H
in this section. As well as this, Alex
won BE100 section I. Over the three days
of competition Alex was competing 10
horses, all of which finished in the top 12
of their respective sections.
The experience of Sarah Colgan and
Machno Radience at this level proved just
that when they finished comfortably inside
the optimum time having posted the only
sub 30 score in their section.
Despite rolling a pole in the show jumping
Jane Lee kept top spot after her leading
dressage score had her in first place. Jane
and her eight-year-old ride Gorgeous
travelled from York to contest the regional
final.
contest between Angus Smales and
James Sommerville, Angus finished on
his dressage score of 26.8 to keep him 0.2
