Of course, I love to cut and paint, it relaxes me, but what nourishes my job and what my hands work on, is in my patients inside, their self esteem. the places where I could study Maxillofacial Prosthesis, until I got information of the National Autonomous University of Mexico at DF. What caught my attention of this university, was that I read that i was between the first ones in Latin America. I left everything in Panama again, I went to do the tests, interviews, evaluate life cost and take preparatory course for 3 months, so take the final test that would define if I was accepted or not in that specialty. Fortunately, after months of a lot of effort and lack of sleep, I was accepted in the specialty, and it was one of the best decisions and experiences of my life until now. I finished my studies in the year 2013. 27 Do you feel it has been easy for you to study and perform in this career? It was not an easy career to study, everything related to the academics, was very tough, at the beginning I was a bit surprised that in the city of Mexico DF, there were no afro descendants, food was very different to what I was used to, and studying outside is very expensive. However, what caught my attention a lot was that they are very rooted to their traditions and culture, their nationalism is to be admired. I was very fortunate for being surrounded by good and kind people, that adopted me as one of them. Now to practice my specialty, yes very difficult. First, because I studied outside of Panama, and when you do that, people forgets

My greatest satisfaction professionally speaking up to this moment has been having my private practice and also be part of the institutional sector, since Well, my message is… Life has a lot to offer, but it also give us trials, stones, or however you’d like to call it. Some, since when then are born, and others in other time of their life, we all have inside fights, our challenges.
