Dear readers of Ethnicities Magazine,
I’m extremely happy to have been able to
start a new year 2017 with you, and with full
hand to reach to you with fresh and relevant
information.
Among the many good news we have, is
that we continue to get new columnists to
be added to write for Ethnicities from different
parts of the world, and that only indicates
one thing, we are growing and we are
maturing as a media, which seeks not only
to educate and raise awareness between
our people, but to every person that reads
this magazine, and that is why it is vital that
we spread the message of Ethnicities Magazine
to more and more people.
I am very grateful to all of you for all the
support we received last year, and this year
we have come with new strength and innovation.
Between what we have for this 2017 we
can mention: our online program, which will
continue to broadcast, but it will be from
Sunday 1 time per month, and will be a combination of live and pre-recorded, and will launch
the Sunday of the week on which the magazine is released; also we seek to spread more
about what the African Diaspora is doing all over the world, because we want to establish a
communication link to work in unity. And finally I want to announce that Ethnicities Magazine,
Along with Menina Congo, Larimar Htart, Stephany Salazar, Norma Lewis will be organizing
the First Miss Diaspora Africa International Panama, find all details in our different social networks.

This month we interviewed two great people, we have our dear Dr. Vania Barrow, who is a columnist
for Ethnicities Magazine, you will get to know much more about her and her wonderful
work; And we also interviewed Jesús Bermúdez, better known as Necko, a talented Allstyle
dancer from the province of Colón.
I think it has been enough information to begin this year 2017, and I encourage you to accompany

contributed with much love for all of you in this first issue of the year.
