The Bedford-Stuyvesant Family Health Center is a primary care health<br />

facility offering a broad range of integrative health care services, with<br />

an emphasis on prevention, education, and critical support services.<br />

Services include dentistry, family planning, family practice, internal<br />

medicine, nutrition, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, prenatal care,<br />

psychiatry, substance abuse assessment, HIV/AIDS clinic. On-site<br />

specialty services include surgical consultation, urology, cardiology,<br />

podiatry, eye care. The Family Health Center has a full staff of culturally<br />

sensitive male and female physicians. English, Spanish, French<br />

Creole, and other dialects are spoken. For the Deaf, signing capability<br />

is also on-site. Call the nearest location to inquire about hours and<br />

services, and to schedule an appointment.<br />

ACCESS Community Health Center is dedicated to serving the acute<br />

and chronic health care needs of all community members. ACCESS<br />

provides a wide range of health care services including primary and<br />

specialty care, HIV care, substance use treatment, mental health,<br />

physical therapy, podiatry, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.<br />

ACCESS provides health and dental care for people with intellectual<br />

and developmental disabilities. A sliding-scale fee is available,<br />

depending on family size and income, for those without insurance.<br />

Community Service Society staff can help enroll participants in free<br />

or affordable health insurance, apply for financial assistance to pay<br />

for health insurance, compare and understand different health insurance<br />

options, and renew New York Health Marketplace coverage.<br />

Services are free, personalized, and confidential.<br />

The Alliance provides comprehensive services for individuals living<br />

with HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, addiction, mental illness, and other chronic<br />

health conditions in New York City. Programs include care management,<br />

harm reduction and recovery services, HIV and hepatitis C<br />

testing, peer education and workforce reentry services, disease<br />

prevention and coaching, and supportive housing. Services are free,<br />

confidential, and multilingual. Walk-ins are accepted. Spanish spoken.
