Balloon Tree Camp<br />
This camp is for children going into Kindergarten<br />
- 2nd grade and involves a daily regimen of swim<br />
lessons (taught by the Leawood Aquatic Center<br />
Staff) and activity stations including, cooperative<br />
games, arts and crafts, creative sing-along songs,<br />
and recreational play. Occasional educational<br />
visits from the Leawood Fire and Police Depts.<br />
are also included. One - 2 week camp, three<br />
sessions to choose from. Meet at the Lion’s<br />
Shelter.<br />
Outdoor Camp<br />

Creative Creations Camp<br />
Love to get creative? This outdoor camp is for<br />
children entering the 3rd - 6th grade who want<br />
to explore the world of art in a fun and exciting<br />
way. Young artists work with paints, chalk,<br />
paper and clay, (and that’s just the beginning)<br />
and go on a field trip to an “artistic location”<br />
each session. Daily swim instruction is also<br />
included with this camp. One - 2 week camp,<br />
three sessions to choose from. Meet at the<br />
Leawood Aquatic Deck.<br />
ages 9-12<br />
Leawood's full day Outdoor Camp is for kids ages 9-12. This camp is will feature a unique full-day<br />
adventure in an outdoor setting.<br />
The campers will start off in Leawood City Hall, spend the day outdoors in Leawood's parks or other<br />
fun locations around town and return to the City Hall for parent pickup.<br />
Campers will enjoy activities such as hiking, basketball, soccer, arts and crafts, and daily trips<br />
to the pool for "free swim". Weekly field trips will take campers to fun and exciting locations.<br />
Possible trips include: Worlds of Fun, Oceans of Fun, Powerplay, Schliterhaun, Skyzone, Ironwoods<br />
Challege Course. Five - 7 hour sessions.<br />

Super Sports Camp<br />
Can’t get enough of sports? This camp is for the<br />
sports fanatic. Children in the 3rd-6th grade will<br />
spend two weeks participating in recreational<br />
sports and games. Daily playing of different<br />
sports include basketball, volleyball, tennis,<br />
baseball, soccer, and more! Daily swim instruction<br />
is also included with this camp. One Friday field<br />
trip will take campers to a sport themed venue.<br />
Daily activities depend on camp numbers. One<br />
- 2 week camp, three sessions to choose from.<br />
Meet at the West Basketball Court.<br />

Homeschool Group Classes & Seminars<br />
Ages 7-15 years • All classes need to be arranged by calling Scott Gamerl, Outdoor Educations Supervisor 913.696.7771.<br />
A homeschool group with a minimum of 5 students can select from a list of courses provided. These courses will be<br />
60 minutes in length. Each class will have a lecture and lab/demonstration portion. Please read and refer to the<br />
cancellation and refund policy set by the City of Leawood prior to booking your program.<br />
Fee $12 per student/Leawood Resident Discounted $10 per student Min 5 Max 25.<br />
These courses are available in a seminar (4 courses of your choosing). Each class will be two hours in length and<br />
includes a lecture, demonstrations and hands on experiments. Seminars will begin with a general overview of the<br />
physical or biological science and then progress to more specific concepts in those areas of study.<br />
The seminar will be an intensive look at subject matter and themes.<br />
Fee $120 per student/Leawood Resident Discounted $100 per student<br />
