Some two thousand Greek and Turkish Cypriots went missing during the bi-communal conflicts
of the 1960s and the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974. Seven relatives of these missing
recall their harrowing stories: from their last moments together until recent excavations
began to shed light on their possible fate. As these individuals struggle to come to terms
with both their past and their possible future, their stories reveal how these events have
shaped not only their lives but also their
divided country.
