Vassiliki is a young poet and writer, a bohemian type that lives on Tinos Street. Mr. Mimis
lives in his truck with his puppy. Lopez is a troubadour who sings a chorus at the corner
of Ithakis and Drossopoulou Streets. Mrs. Aristea feels connected to the area where she has
lived for more than thirty years. The old Neoclassical villas remind her of her lovely youth.
The people who walk through Kypseli, who come from here and elsewhere, make up one
of the most densely populated neighborhoods on earth.
