This is the same view but the perspective has been corrected with movements on a tilt <strong>and</strong> shift lens.<br />

The camera is in exactly the same place as the previous image, but the perceived perspective has<br />

been changed <strong>by</strong> moving the lens.<br />

Changing perspective in your imagery can be done either with one of these lenses or with software<br />

in the camera or on a computer. Software is a much cheaper solution than buying a lens, but a lens<br />

will produce much better results. If you play with the perspective with software you might lose the<br />

edges of your image as it pulls <strong>and</strong> stretches the file to emulate what the lens would be doing<br />

optically. These lenses are particularly useful when shooting time-lapse near anything tall such as<br />

buildings, trees or mountains.
