The company organizes the annual Doc Review documentary film
festival and handles the distribution of full-length documentaries
from around the world. All films are mainly distributed in television
and on DVD, with a certain number of titles also released in
cinemas (e.g. Screaming Men, Murderball, Working Man's Death).
The agency also publishes its own series of the world's most
significant documentary productions on DVD and distributes Polish
documentary films abroad (e.g. Maciej Drygas' A Day in the
People's Republic of Poland); furthermore it also seeks
partnerships for the production of documentaries.
AGAINST GRAVITY is the Polish representative of such distribution
companies as Films Transit, Roco Films, Decert Distribution and
First Hand Films.

The Mañana Promotion Agency was established in 2001 with the
aim to promote Spanish and Latin American film productions in
Poland. One of its major projects is the Latin American Film
Festival and the Spanish Film Week. Since 2006 Mañana has
been involved in the distribution of films to television stations and
cinemas (e.g. Juana Antína's animated film Mercano the Martian).
Most recently the company distributed the acclaimed film XXY.

Established in 2002, Best Film Co. is mainly involved in all rights
distribution and production of films with solely Polish funding. Its
business activities range from production to cinema, video, DVD,
HD DVD and online distribution. The list of the company's
partners includes Focus Features, IEG, Lakeshore Entertainment,
Sidney Kimmel, Canal+, TF1, Gaumont, Icon, UGC, Pathe,
Miramax and Bavaria Films. Apart from films for a wide
mainstream audience, Best Film distributes European films and
has a specialized section for arthouse cinema. Recent titles from
Best Film include 3:10 To Yuma, La Vie En Rose, The Diving Bell
and The Butterfly, Alexandra and the Polish feature Time to Die.

The CinePix company was established in 2003 as a result of
divestiture within the Syrena Entertainment Group – one of the
first film distribution companies in Poland. In 2007 the company
merged with Imperial Entertainment Home Video and continues to
operate under its new brand name. Imperial CinePix distributes
films to cinemas, including productions by 20th Century Fox,
MGM and as of 2007 also Paramount and Dreamworks. In 2006
the distribution repertoire included: Ice Age 2 (the most popular
film according to the BO Poland 2006 survey), X-Men: The Last
Stand, Omen, Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties, The Devil Wears
Prada and A Good Year and Just My Luck. Imperial CinePix does
not distribute Polish films at all and very rarely distributes
European productions.
Since the merger with Imperial Entertainment Home Video the
sphere of activity has expanded to include distribution of VHS and
DVD and sales to television channels, both private and public. The
company holds exclusive rights for the distribution of productions
by: 20th Century Fox / MGM (to cinemas and on VHS and DVD)
Buena Vista Home Entertainment and Sony Home Entertainment.
