Corelli Music festival “The Towers of<br />
Tall<strong>in</strong>n” br<strong>in</strong>gs together the history of<br />
Tall<strong>in</strong>n and contemporary achieve-<br />
FESTIVAL “THE TOWERS OF TALLINN”<br />
ments, <strong>in</strong>troduc<strong>in</strong>g the city’s famous<br />
silhouette through different eras of<br />
music. The towers of the city wall,<br />
churches, modern skyscrapers, the<br />
whole city is fi lled with music, from<br />
the Middle Ages and Baroque to folk<br />
melodies, jazz and contemporary<br />
music. Thus, architecture, history<br />
and performers - everyone tells their<br />
own stories, from the times of L<strong>in</strong>danise<br />
and Kolyvan, to the present day.<br />

concerts with style end elegance,<br />

The festival promotes viol<strong>in</strong>-play<strong>in</strong>g<br />
<strong>in</strong> national style and mak<strong>in</strong>g<br />
music together. Viol<strong>in</strong> students of<br />
various music schools and viol<strong>in</strong>players<br />
<strong>in</strong> folk groups participate<br />
<strong>in</strong> a study camp. Besides campers,<br />
several prom<strong>in</strong>ent folk music ensembles<br />
perform at the concert as<br />
well.
