Standard Statement: All staff to attend and take responsibility for their individual mandatory<br />
training needs.<br />
Method:<br />
• Staff to take individual responsibility for keeping up to date with mandatory requirements<br />
• Staff and management produce evidence that all statutory training requirements have been<br />
met in the following areas:-<br />
• COSHH<br />
• FIRE<br />
• BLS/ILS/PBLS<br />
• Manual handling<br />
• Infection control<br />
• Health and safety<br />
• Risk management<br />
• Conflict resolution<br />
• Information Governance<br />
• Child Safeguarding<br />
• All staff will have an annual Individual performance Appraisal with their line manager where<br />
they will be able to identify individual requests for training and development.<br />
• Theatre managers will collate information to provide the department annual trading needs<br />
analysis to support allocation of funding for staff development<br />
