Mass Effect is Bioware’s cult classic<br />
sci-fi video game series that<br />
has sold over 10 million copies in its<br />
lifetime, with billions of articles, art,<br />
cosplays and stories based on it.<br />
Following the adventures of Commander<br />
Shepard and her journey to<br />
defeat the alien Reapers who want<br />
to destroy the universe, Mass Effect<br />
has a system of squadmates<br />
who you recruit throughout the<br />
games and who accompany you<br />
on missions throughout the games<br />
as your companions (and optionally<br />
lovers). With the recent release<br />
of Mass Effect: Andromeda, I felt<br />
it was time to face the most controversial<br />
of all Mass Effect topics:<br />
who the best squadmate is.<br />
