Weaponization of Electronics–
Capable 3D Printer

The recent development of electronicscapable
3D printers allows for a variety of
novel attacks on printed circuits. The design
techniques used for Hardware Trojans can
be used here to target higher level components
such as buses. We describe an antenna
-based eavesdropping attack, implement this
attack against an I2C bus, then evaluate the
attack's performance. We consider the criteria
for target buses based on our observations.
