Mauldin Sports Center
The Mauldin Sports Center is kicking off Thursday Fitness Throw Down! All day April
27th (5:35 a.m. - 7:15 p.m.), will feature a different arrangement of classes for the day.
For this special occassion, instructors have brought back some old (but good!) classes,
like Bosu/Body Bar! Bring unlimited friends for FREE! Keep
an eye out for the Thursday Throw Down flyer for schedule
of classes and events or contact the Mauldin Sports Center
front desk at 864.335.4875. Prizes will be given!
The group fitness schedule will see a few changes starting
mid-April. Due to low attendance, Tuesday’s 9:35 a.m. yoga
sessions and 1:15 p.m. Tai Chi Chih sessions have been
removed. The 4:30 p.m. group fitness time slot on Monday afternoons has also been
eliminated from the schedule. Classes may be added back in the future if the center
sees a high demand with an average of 10 attendees per class.
Now on Mondays the first evening class (5:30 p.m.) rotates between Kickbox TRX’s
Circuit and Kickbox circuit.
Youth Activities
Mauldin’s Baseball/Softball Opening Day
was a great success. The regular season has
started, despite the Spring rain showers. As
usual, the youth sports team would like to
thank their wonderful volunteers for their
support. Flag Football and Lacrosse have
also started practice. The Lacrosse program
is really growing this year and teams will be
participating in tournaments this Spring in
Asheville.
