The time is 1985 and rock star wanna-be Robbie Hart is New<br />

Jersey’s favorite wedding singer. He’s the life of the party until<br />

his fiancée Linda leaves him at the altar. Devastated, Robbie has<br />

hit rock bottom. Enter Julia, a winsome waitress who wins his<br />

affection. However, Julia daydreams about marrying Glen, a<br />

Wall Street shark, and unless Robbie can pull off the per<strong>for</strong>mance<br />

of the decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone <strong>for</strong>ever.<br />

A concession stand is available <strong>for</strong> food and drink, or bring your<br />

own picnic basket. You may bring blankets or regular folding<br />

chairs, or rent a folding chair at the park <strong>for</strong> $1 each.<br />

LAS VEGAS NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM<br />

Since opening in 1991, the Las Vegas Natural History Museum,<br />

has exhibited a varied collection of wildlife and prehistoric<br />

exhibits on loan. Since then, the museum has obtained its own<br />

multi-million dollar, world-class collection, and created an<br />

exciting and interactive learning experience. From the desert to<br />

the ocean, from Nevada to Africa, prehistoric times to the present,<br />

the museum takes young and old explorers on a learning<br />

adventure around the world.<br />

The Vegas Voice is proud to present and bring “The Phat Pack”<br />

to Sun City Summerlin. Bruce Ewing, Kevan Patriquin and Randal<br />

Keith are individually and collectively an extraordinary group of<br />

artists. They met while per<strong>for</strong>ming “Phantom, the Las Vegas<br />

Spectacular” and together they <strong>for</strong>med their own highly acclaimed<br />

spectacle that thrills audiences everywhere. “There are<br />

two kinds of audiences claims Evan Davis, entertainment editor<br />

of The Vegas Voice. “One group knows full well how great these<br />

guys are, the other is about to join the <strong>for</strong>mer.” Joined by musical<br />

director and pianist Philip Fortenberry, be prepared <strong>for</strong> a fantastic<br />

show that will have you leaving with a huge smile. The<br />

show will be that good!<br />

Transportation to all events is provided. All bus trips depart from the Pinnacle parking lot, east of the softball field, near the posted<br />

signs. Unless otherwise specified, driver gratuity is not included in the ticket price. Tickets may be purchased at Desert Vista,<br />

Mountain Shadows and Pinnacle community centers; cash or checks only. No credit cards. Tickets are non-refundable.<br />
