The time is 1985 and rock star wanna-be Robbie Hart is New
Jersey’s favorite wedding singer. He’s the life of the party until
his fiancée Linda leaves him at the altar. Devastated, Robbie has
hit rock bottom. Enter Julia, a winsome waitress who wins his
affection. However, Julia daydreams about marrying Glen, a
Wall Street shark, and unless Robbie can pull off the performance
of the decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever.
A concession stand is available for food and drink, or bring your
own picnic basket. You may bring blankets or regular folding
chairs, or rent a folding chair at the park for $1 each.
LAS VEGAS NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM
Tuesday, June 13

$15 per person includes transportation, museum entry and a
1 hour guided tour
Since opening in 1991, the Las Vegas Natural History Museum,
has exhibited a varied collection of wildlife and prehistoric
exhibits on loan. Since then, the museum has obtained its own
multi-million dollar, world-class collection, and created an
exciting and interactive learning experience. From the desert to
the ocean, from Nevada to Africa, prehistoric times to the present,
the museum takes young and old explorers on a learning
adventure around the world.

The Vegas Voice is proud to present and bring “The Phat Pack”
to Sun City Summerlin. Bruce Ewing, Kevan Patriquin and Randal
Keith are individually and collectively an extraordinary group of
artists. They met while performing “Phantom, the Las Vegas
Spectacular” and together they formed their own highly acclaimed
spectacle that thrills audiences everywhere. “There are
two kinds of audiences claims Evan Davis, entertainment editor
of The Vegas Voice. “One group knows full well how great these
guys are, the other is about to join the former.” Joined by musical
director and pianist Philip Fortenberry, be prepared for a fantastic
show that will have you leaving with a huge smile. The
show will be that good!
Transportation to all events is provided. All bus trips depart from the Pinnacle parking lot, east of the softball field, near the posted
signs. Unless otherwise specified, driver gratuity is not included in the ticket price. Tickets may be purchased at Desert Vista,
Mountain Shadows and Pinnacle community centers; cash or checks only. No credit cards. Tickets are non-refundable.
