Sunshine Service<br />
We loan medical equipment and children’s equipment to<br />
Sun City residents with a valid Association ID. Our warehouse<br />
is next to the Security Patrol office at Desert Vista.<br />
We also collect aluminum tabs, Campbell’s soup labels and<br />
food donations <strong>for</strong> charity. Salvation Army’s food barrels<br />
are located at our warehouse and in the lobby of Mountain<br />
Shadows. e warehouse is open Monday through Saturday,<br />
9-11 a.m. e next general meeting will be Monday,<br />
<strong>June</strong> 5, 11 a.m., Desert Vista. A light lunch will be served.<br />
Our guest speaker will be Mr. Kiande of the SafeNest Corporation.<br />

Swim<br />
Senior Olympic Games are coming in early October! Anyone<br />
interested in joining the club may contact any of us or<br />
just come on over to the Desert Vista indoor pool during<br />
our regular swim time, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9-<br />
10 a.m. We have swimmers at all levels and instructors who<br />
can teach swimming or improve your <strong>for</strong>m. Beginner swim<br />
lessons are offered free to club members. Annual dues are<br />

Table Tennis<br />
Our club is a friendly, pleasant group of players ranging<br />
from beginners to a senior gold medalist, and we cordially<br />
welcome anyone. e club has made arrangements with a<br />
local club, Lee’s Table Tennis Club, here in the valley to visit<br />
their club facilities. Many of our members took the opportunity<br />
to get free lessons from their pros and head coach, Emily.<br />
Emily was one of the coaches <strong>for</strong> the China National Team<br />
be<strong>for</strong>e she retired to Las Vegas. is club is dedicated to the<br />
sport and many of the local top players regularly train at<br />
this facility. All our members recognize the tremendous<br />
health bene ts of playing table tennis at our Pinnacle center<br />
on a regular basis. We play 9 a.m. to noon, Sunday, Monday,<br />
Wednesday and Friday; 5:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday. All Sun<br />
City residents are welcome to drop by any time to try out<br />
our club free twice be<strong>for</strong>e joining. e annual membership<br />

Tai Chi<br />
e perfect exercise <strong>for</strong> seniors. All classes <strong>for</strong> all levels are held<br />
at Desert Vista Fitness Center, unless otherwise noted. Membership<br />
is $5 per calendar year with no charge <strong>for</strong> classes. For<br />
