Meeting dates are the second<br />
Wednesday of the month. e club’s goal is to provide a<br />
creative environment that allows our members an opportunity<br />
to achieve excellence in scale model building (in plastic or<br />
wood), as well as to enjoy model railroading, featuring our<br />
extensive HO layout. Members are also involved in leather<br />
crafting, wood carving and doll house building. We welcome<br />

Musicmakers<br />
e Musicmakers recently completed its very successful<br />
spring show, “Music of Our Time.” We per<strong>for</strong>med music<br />
from the artistry of Norman Luboff, Randall ompson,<br />
Morten Lauridson, John Denver and the Beach Boys,<br />
among others. A little something <strong>for</strong> everyone. e<br />
Musicmakers are on a break until September, at which time<br />
we begin working on the holiday show to be per<strong>for</strong>med in<br />
December. e Musicmakers is a diverse group of seniors,<br />
about 30 strong, who love to sing. Under the direction of<br />
Dennis Gazso and accompanied by Eddie Fluellen, we have<br />
a great time learning and per<strong>for</strong>ming quality music from a<br />
variety of genres. Proper technique and interpretation are<br />
stressed while we strive <strong>for</strong> excellence. If you love to sing,<br />
please feel free to come and check us out. We meet Mondays,<br />
1-3 p.m., in the Music Room at the Pinnacle. Our<br />
rehearsals will begin September 11. We look <strong>for</strong>ward to<br />
meeting you. As with every other club, you may attend two<br />
meetings/rehearsals be<strong>for</strong>e you make the decision to join.<br />

e New York Club will hold its paid-up membership<br />
pizza party and white elephant extravaganza meeting on<br />
