Softball-Men’s<br />
e Softball Club is on vacation until September. When we<br />
return to the eld we should be ready to rock and roll. ose<br />

Spanish<br />
e Spanish Club offers classes at beginning, intermediate and<br />
advanced levels that include conversation and composition,<br />
as well as occasional social gatherings. Classes are held on<br />
Wednesday and Friday mornings at Sun Shadows. Anyone<br />
interested in beginning Spanish conversation may come to<br />
the Wednesday, 9 a.m., class in the Sun ower Room, regardless<br />
of their background in Spanish. Bienvenidos (Welcome). To<br />
join the club or obtain additional class in<strong>for</strong>mation, contact<br />

Stained Glass<br />
Summer is approaching. Just<br />
think of all of the beautiful<br />
projects you can make <strong>for</strong><br />
your yard or home. is<br />
window project is one of the many items made by Sue<br />
Stevens. e colors are gorgeous and made more beautiful<br />
when the sunlight hits it! Join our club and you can make<br />
one <strong>for</strong> yourself. We have wonderful, patient and in<strong>for</strong>mative<br />
instructors in Walter Medla and Roger Wagar, who will<br />
teach you in the correct use of stained glass. Come in and sign<br />
up <strong>for</strong> a class. We are located at Mountain Shadows, in the<br />
arts and crafts wing. We are open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.<br />
Come in and take a tour thorough our club. For in<strong>for</strong>mation,<br />

Sun City Summerlin Charities<br />
Charities provides residents who are unable to drive with<br />
transportation to medical appointments, shopping and other<br />
personal services. We also per<strong>for</strong>m handyman services such<br />
as replacing light bulbs, smoke alarm batteries and furnace<br />
lters, as well as repair cabinet hinges and drawer glides. We<br />
currently need more volunteer drivers to meet a heavy demand<br />
<strong>for</strong> transportation services. If you are interested in helping<br />
your fellow residents maintain an independent lifestyle,<br />
call us at 254-5831 or stop by our office adjacent to the Desert<br />
Vista picnic area. We’re open Monday to Friday, 8:30-11 a.m.<br />
