Lincoln’s Cathedral Quarter is taken over by stalls,<br />
entertainers and seasonal themes for four days of festive<br />
entertainment and shopping at the famous Lincoln Christmas Market.<br />
The famous Lincoln Christmas Market takes place from Thursday 1st<br />
to Sunday 4th December in Lincoln’s Cathedral Quarter. Visitors to the<br />
market will be sure to soak up the festive atmosphere across this large<br />
market site, with more than 280 stalls nestled in and around Lincoln<br />
Castle, Cathedral, the Lawn complex and many other venues and<br />
streets along the way.<br />
There is something for everyone, from unusual gifts to food and drink<br />
from near and far, not to mention a whole host of entertainment for all<br />
the family to enjoy. Enjoy the scents of mulled wine and freshly cooked<br />
food, the sounds of entertainment, music and merriment and the sights<br />
of this market in this stunning, historic city.<br />
LANTERN PARADE & NATIVITY<br />
15th December, 6pm-7.30pm<br />
Join the children of Westgate Academy on a<br />
lantern parade through Lincoln ending with a<br />
traditional nativity play in Castle Square.<br />
The lantern parade leaves from Lincoln<br />
Cornhill at 6pm and leads up the High Street<br />
and Steep Hill to Castle Square for a natitivy<br />
play and carol service.<br />
Join the local school children as they lead the<br />
parade with paper lanterns for a wonderfully<br />
festive family evening in Lincoln.<br />

HARTSHOLME CHRISTMAS TRAIL<br />
17th-21st December, 12noon-3pm, Hartsholme<br />
Country Park<br />
Take part in a festive trail around Hartsholme<br />
Country Park and help Father Christmas find his<br />
nine lost reindeer before Christmas Eve.<br />
If you find them all this will lead you if to a delicious<br />
and Christmassy treat. All children must be<br />
accompanied by an adult. There are toilets and<br />
refreshments at the Park.<br />
