home-grown Christmas trees & late night shopping at
Doddington Hall & Gardens this Christmas.
Lincoln’s Cathedral Quarter is taken over by stalls,
entertainers and seasonal themes for four days of festive
entertainment and shopping at the famous Lincoln Christmas Market.
The famous Lincoln Christmas Market takes place from Thursday 1st
to Sunday 4th December in Lincoln’s Cathedral Quarter. Visitors to the
market will be sure to soak up the festive atmosphere across this large
market site, with more than 280 stalls nestled in and around Lincoln
Castle, Cathedral, the Lawn complex and many other venues and
streets along the way.
There is something for everyone, from unusual gifts to food and drink
from near and far, not to mention a whole host of entertainment for all
the family to enjoy. Enjoy the scents of mulled wine and freshly cooked
food, the sounds of entertainment, music and merriment and the sights
of this market in this stunning, historic city.
LANTERN PARADE & NATIVITY
15th December, 6pm-7.30pm
Join the children of Westgate Academy on a
lantern parade through Lincoln ending with a
traditional nativity play in Castle Square.
The lantern parade leaves from Lincoln
Cornhill at 6pm and leads up the High Street
and Steep Hill to Castle Square for a natitivy
play and carol service.
Join the local school children as they lead the
parade with paper lanterns for a wonderfully
festive family evening in Lincoln.

CHRISTMAS

Museum of
Lincolnshire Life
Join the Museum of
Lincolnshire Life as
a host of Victorian
Characters prepare the
sights and smells of a
traditional Christmas in
the historic room-sets and
refreshments are served
in the tea room.
A host of Victorian
characters will be in
full swing preparing for
Christmas in the house
and shops at the Museum
of Lincolnshire Life.
Join them and enjoy the
sounds, smells and tastes
of a nostalgic look at how
the traditions of Christmas
began.
This festive event takes
place at the same time
as the nearby Lincoln
Christmas Market.
HARTSHOLME CHRISTMAS TRAIL
17th-21st December, 12noon-3pm, Hartsholme
Country Park
Take part in a festive trail around Hartsholme
Country Park and help Father Christmas find his
nine lost reindeer before Christmas Eve.
If you find them all this will lead you if to a delicious
and Christmassy treat. All children must be
accompanied by an adult. There are toilets and
refreshments at the Park.
