Festive family fun with<br />
Macmillan Cancer Support<br />
Come and join us on the 26th November at St Marks<br />
Square, Lincoln, where we will be hosting our annual<br />
Macmillan Tree of Lights event.<br />
This event is for everyone, from the youngsters to the senior<br />
youngsters who wish to remember someone at Christmas.<br />
This year Rudolph and his friends will resting for their big sleigh<br />
ride on the 24th December so are sending their best friends,<br />
Donkeys ‘Charlie’ and ‘Dermot’, so under supervision the little<br />
ones can give them a treat… if Demot and Charlie have been<br />
good donkeys for Father Christmas this year.<br />
As well as the buckets for leaving memories on the tree there<br />
will be tea, coffee and soft drinks for the children and mulled<br />
wine (non alcoholic of course) for the adults as well as mince pies<br />
and sweetie bags for the children (for a small donation). We will<br />
have several choirs providing beautiful music to everyone, feel<br />
free to join in if you recognise the songs.<br />
As a special treat Fireman Sam has asked his friends at the station<br />
to bring along a fire truck for the afternoon for the children to see.*<br />
We look forward to you joining us for a wonderful afternoon of free<br />
entertainment and get everyone in the mood for the festive period.<br />
