Read - Numbers 1:1-4, 44-46
Sometimes when I am given an assignment, task, or project: (choose one)
Numbers 1:1
I feel overwhelmed. I complain and put off doing it.
I follow the plan and work together with others to get it accomplished.
I get started, but then have a hard time following through with it.
God does not speak to me in the same way that He spoke to Moses. Today He speaks through His Word and the Holy
Spirit. What is one thing that He has shown me that I need to work on?
Honestly, I don’t know what He would want me to work on.
God has given me teachers to help me learn and grow. One assignment or project I have right now is:
I don’t have a current project, but one that is ahead is:
Numbers 1:2-4
What a huge task! Draw a star next to the strategy that can help me complete a current project or assignment well.
Break it down into simpler steps (vs.2)
Have a project leader. Cooperate rather than argue. (vs.3)
Work with a team of people. (vs.4)
Numbers 1:44-45
At times I wonder, “Why do I have to do this?” Yes No
I may not have military battles and war looming ahead in my life, but:
The things I faithfully complete now prepare me for future challenges.
If I don’t know what is ahead , I decide it is pointless and don’t do it.
God keeps
His promises
to me, so I
commit to
keep mine to
Him.
Numbers 1:46
Write down the number recorded here.
Check out Genesis 46:26. How many Israelites had gone to Egypt over two hundred years earlier?
In Genesis 17:2, God had promised Abraham, an ancestor of the Israelites, that He would multiply his descendants.
According to these verses, God keeps/does not keep (circle one) His promises.
