Saturday, June 24th
Read - Numbers 22:21-35
• Motives - they're why I do the things I do. I don't have a sign on my forehead that tells why I am acting a certain
way, and neither do my friends. I can fool a lot of people about my motives but I can't fool God.
Numbers 22:21-22
•When I think of the words adversary or oppose, the words that come to my mind are:
"All the ways of a
man are clean in his
own sight, but the
Lord weighs the
motives." -
Proverbs 16:2

I have tried to look like one of the "good guys" when actually, my motives were more
like the "bad guys".
I have convinced myself that an action of mine was ok even though the reason why I
was doing it was not ok.
•Is there something in my life that I know God would oppose? Yes No

• Donkeys are not known for being very smart. God can use all kinds of things to get my attention or keep His
people safe. One thing I know God has used to keep me safe or get my attention is:

• Recklessly moving to do wrong describes Balaam here. That does not describe me, does it?
