Read - <strong>Numbers</strong> 7:1-9, 84-89<br />
• If I knew that the president or another ruler of a nation was coming to speak with me, I would prepare. I sure would<br />
not meet them looking as if I just rolled out of bed. If I knew that person wanted to use something of mine, I would<br />
make sure it was in great shape.<br />
<strong>Numbers</strong> 7:1<br />
“For you were<br />
bought with a price;<br />
therefore glorify<br />
God in your body<br />
and in your spirit,<br />
which are God’s.” -<br />
1 Corinthians 6:20<br />
•In modern times, we don’t have a tabernacle like this. However, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20<br />
tells me that my body is where God, through His Holy Spirit, dwells with me. What is one way<br />
I will better care for my body to keep it in good shape for God?<br />
I will take steps to use proper grooming and cleanliness<br />
I will make good nutritional choices, fueling my body well<br />
I will get the sleep I need to function well<br />
I will not harm my body. If I am, I will get help to stop<br />
I will start an exercise plan to strengthen my body<br />
