SERIES 11 FANs
Series 11 fans are bolted to the rotor, coupling,
or ratchet mechanisms rather than being bored
to fit the motor shaft. They may be used for
squirrel cages or wound rotors or for vertical
pump motors. The thickness of the hub area of
these fans is the same as the back plate.
SERIES 12 FANs
Series 12 fans come in two or more pieces
which are bolted to a machine shaft, or are
clamped together. This type of fan is useful if
it is necessary to remove the fan from a shaft
joining two parts of a machine that is difficult
to disassemble. The list price includes all
pieces required to assemble a complete fan,
but does not include charges to bore and
machine the split surfaces of the fan. (See
Table B2 for the additional charges.)
