What have I defined as the parameters of my life
that keeps me from creating something greater?

What was missing was the REAL ME.
Not that I wasn’t pursuing a spiritual path all this time. Starting in my late teens I took
every kind of self-growth and spiritual courses I could and learned all the healing
modalities the minute they came on the scene. (Mind you, I also had the fabulous
homes, the summers in the Hamptons and the shopping excursions at Bloomingdales,
too.)
About seven years ago, my course changed dramatically, though I didn’t realize it for
quite a while. I had a reading with a healer in South America who’d been recommended
by my former partner’s millionaire client. Very few people got to work with this man. He
worked in the energetic realms and he could tell if anyone or anything was trying to stop
or limit you.
At the end of our session he told me something I’ll never forget: “You are never really
being YOU.” While I could understand the words he used, I didn't have a clue what he
was really telling me!
He looked at my website and read my bio to me using a funny, judgmental kind of voice,
almost mocking me! What? Why!? I listened to the recording over and over again. I tried
to look at it from every direction I could conceive of. I couldn't get at what he was trying
to convey.
Because the lie was in the way.
