AUGUST 2017
In the blink of an eye we are now eight
months into the year. In this edition, Bounce
has plenty of ways to make the most out of
our final summer months.
During July, the Bounce team ventured to the
Latitude Festival at Henham Park. It is a tough
job sometimes, but someone has to do It. We
bring you the highlights from this year’s event,
read all about it on pages 24 to 27.
Following this, I was honoured to catch up
with former ‘Noah and the Whale’ frontman
Charlie Fink about his latest solo project.
‘Cover My Tracks’ featured at this year’s
Latitude and is set to stop by us at The Apex
in Bury St Edmunds in September. Read my
interview with Charlie on pages 28-33.
I also had the pleasure to catch up with Jim
Glennie, bassist of James, who have been
on the scene for many year’s now. I spoke to
him about their upcoming performance at
Newmarket Nights, read my interview in full
on pages 48-53.
Don’t forget you can listen to our interviews,
online via our YouTube channel
Our review this month features the fusion
tastes of Wagamama in Bury St Edmunds. If
you like Asian food then check out what we
thought in the food & drink section.
Also in this issue Action Man tries out a Fight
Klub class, Franck Pontais is back with a
mouth-watering summer recipe and Elizabeth,
our resident therapist, asks the question ‘are
you getting enough sleep’?
